Really, I am. I don’t delete comments, and I don’t make any attempt to guide the comments discussions. I prefer seeing what people think of whatever drivel I’ve put out that day. Comments make me happy, regardless of whether or not they are agreeing with me.
What does not make me happy is reading the comments and seeing a particular commenter has gotten negative emails based on something she posted here at my blog. In fact, it makes me kind of upset.
I haven’t ask who emailed, nor do I intend to. I don’t want to know, because I don’t want to be disappointed in the people here I consider to be friends.
To the commenter, I extend my apologies, I hate the thought of anyone feeling harassed here at my blog, and I hate that I could lose a long-term reader over it.
To the mailers, while I appreciate your concern(really, truly I do), please don’t play that way here. If I feel offended at something someone says, you KNOW I wouldn’t hesitate to call them out on it. I’m not exactly a wallflower with my words.
